Rail Trestle Inspection
Inspecting the Girders and Deck.
This old rail trestle rises up out of the forest at the end of a narrow two-lane road. Designed to support a competitor of the transcontinental railroad, this trestle is now part of a future bike and pedestrian trail.
The trail currently ends just past the trees.
Our team was tasked with climbing up under the road way to determine the condition of the girders and deck. Our inspection report consisted of over 100 separate deficiency notes and their accompanying photographs.
